Aashima Gupta
Aashima Gupta leads AI strategy and solutions for the healthcare industry at Google Cloud, driving digital transformation and leveraging frontier models like Gemini to enhance healthcare accessibility and efficiency. She joined Google Cloud in November 2016, assuming her current role in November 2018. Previously, Aashima was Vice President – Digital Transformation – Healthcare at Apigee and Executive Director of Digital Health at Kaiser Permanente.
Aashima brings a robust blend of technical acumen and leadership. She holds two patents in computer applications (20100287458, 20090299784) and has been widely recognized for her contributions to the field, including being named one of the Most Influential Women in Healthcare IT by HIMSS and receiving the Top 10 Executives to Watch recognition by Modern Healthcare.
Ms. Gupta has served on the board of directors of Neogen, a publicly traded animal and food safety company, since 2022. In addition, she currently serves on the board of directors of Molnlycke Healthcare, a privately held medtech company and as a member of the board of advisors of HIMSS, a non-profit. Aashima received her BS in Computer Science from Delhi University and a Masters in Computer Applications from IMT Ghaziabad India.
